Interested in volunteering?
Did you know?
During the 2023-24 academic year, approximately 60 volunteers gave up 8250 hours of their time to support our charitable work! Without this extraordinary goodwill, we certainly would not be able impact the lives of hundreds of young people each year. We are always so extremely grateful to all those who volunteer, so generously, to make The Papillon Project possible.
Volunteering in schools:
The Papillon Project is always looking for volunteers to help with creating and developing school allotments. Our celebrated volunteers are absolutely essential to 'future proofing' school allotments.
We are looking for anyone over the age of 18 who is:
-
keen to acquire a unique experience with working with children and young people
-
very passionate in trying inspiring others, especially children/young people, to respect the environment and to lead more sustainable lives
-
interested in learning more about engaging children and young people with horticulture and permaculture.
Please CLICK HERE to complete a quick and easy online form to register your initial interest in volunteering with The Papillon Project. Completing this form does not mean you're officially signing up to be a volunteer! It's just about showing an early interest in what we do!
Volunteering to support our public events:
We are currently in great need of volunteers to support us with our public events and helping to plan, prepare and deliver them. Public events are an incredibly important way for our charity to network, make new friends and connections. Please CLICK HERE to register an interested in helping with our public events.
