A seasonal gesture from our charity to help schools get ready the growing season.
Every year, around Easter, The Papillon Project creates these hampers of gifts (containing items such as seeds, plug plants, books and other resources) for schools who feel they could do with an inspirational boost to get the annual growing season underway. Like the transformation of a caterpillar into a butterfly, our 'Cocoon Boxes' are provided to help kick start the positive transformation of a school allotment/garden from winter to spring and to encourage young people to 'give it a grow'. Schools must apply for a free cocoon box each year.
